Kaolin

Kaolin, sometimes referred to as china clay, is a soft clay mineral occurring independently from other minerals, and is constituted mainly of kaolinite. They include baby cosmetics, creams, soap, shampoos and other personal care products because of its absorbent, gentle and cooling nature.

BENIFITS :

This helps to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, and due to its relative softness it does not cause skin redness and itch. It is also outstanding for oils controlling as a component of make-up product which is able to intensely absorb the sebum and prevent increased shine and enlarging of the pores. Kaolin is suitable for easily irritated skin since it has the ability to soothe the skin and make it calm. Kaolin which has been widely used in beautifying products because of it’s crayon like texture that helps in pulling out dirt and toxins on the skin hence making it refreshing when used in masks. Unlike other kinds of abrasives or absorbents, kaolin is non-abrasive and therefore appropriate to use on sensitive skin.

SKIN TYPES :

Kaolin is suitable for all skin types, but especially for oily, combined and acne-prone skin since kaolin is an oil-absorbing and purifying ingredient.
