Talc

Talc is an indigenous material made from magnesium, silicon, and oxygen. This compound is commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products owing to it being unique.

BENIFITS :

Talc has qualities of excellent adsorbability of moisture; therefore, it is suitable for the regulation of oil and sweat secretion beyond acceptable levels on the skin. This quality makes it to be applied mostly in body powders, deodorants and in other cosmetic products. Further, the frictional properties of talc makes it give products a softs, smooth feel, and improve their feel and texture, which makes it to be widely used in formulation of powders, foundations, and even eyeshadows. Also, it serves the purpose of preventing caking of powder and hence enables a more uniform use and with longer durability.

SKIN TYPES :

Talc is particularly wonderful for people with oily/combo skin because it does a fairly good job of mattifying. However, people who have dry or sensitive skin should apply any product that contains talc cautiously since it may sometimes cause skin dryness or rashes.
